The long narrow shape lays flat on the bench so you sit on cotton rather than hot timber, then wraps easily around you the moment you step out. That flat woven, long form cotton towel has a long tradition behind it, the hammam and bathhouse peshtemal, chosen for exactly this: it packs down small, absorbs fast and dries quickly between uses.
The towel is made from natural 100 percent cotton, the fibre that pulls water off the skin instead of pushing it around, so you go from heat to water and back without staying damp. It is light enough to carry every day and hard wearing enough to earn its place in the rotation. The custom jacquard wave runs through the weave itself rather than being printed on, which is why the pattern holds and the towel keeps its softness wash after wash.
